ABUSIVE OR INSULTING WORDS OR BEHAVIOUR WITH INTENT TO CAUSE IMMEDIATE UNLAWFUL VIOLENCE

Once the legality of an arrest had been accepted, a finding that threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour had been used with intent to cause immediate unlawful violence to be used, defeated any appeal. R v Lee (2001) 1 Cr App R 239 applied.
